Zachariah Anthony Licau

Zachariah (Zac) Licau, age 40, reunited with his grandmother on August 23rd, 2022. He passed peacefully with his mother and sisters by his side, listening to “Send Me On My Way” by Rusted Root. Zac was an extremely talented and accomplished chef. Discovering his passion for cooking early on at a small diner in his hometown of Winneconne, WI, when he was only 13 years old. By the age of 29, he was already an Executive Chef at one of the most prominent private clubs in Milwaukee, WI, leading him to finally owning his own catering and consulting company. Above all, Zac’s greatest accomplishment was fathering two sons. Teaching them to fish, like his grandfather taught him, and leaving them with his love for food. Zac is survived by his two Sons, Evan and Clayton; his Mother, Julie (Al); Sisters, Mandi (Shawn) and Shannen; Grandfather, Fred; Uncles, Dale (Kristin) and Ken; Niece, Analia; Nephews, Ashton and Damin; as well as several cousins. Proceeded in death by his Grandmother, Kathy; Great Aunt, Nancy; and Sister, Angelia. A Celebration Of Life will be held from 2:00-5:00pm on September 24th at 56601 S Loomis Rd., Waterford, WI, 53185. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the staff of Froedtert Hospital for their care and support throughout his final days.
