William Bishop Robinson Jr., age 68, passed away on June 11th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was a devoted husband and father, a proud Navy veteran, a beloved grandfather, and a trusted friend to many.
His presence was unforgettable, insanely funny, often without even trying, bringing laughter with his sarcasm, unexpected one-liners, and perfectly timed glances. He worked hard through every season of his life, not for praise, but out of quiet devotion. His hands were calloused, his spirit steady, and his love was expressed in every behind-the-scenes sacrifice.
But above all, his heart came alive when he became a Poppop. He absolutely cherished his grandchildren, Elias, Sampson, Nicholas, and Alora, lighting up with joy whenever they were near.
He was always singing — especially Elvis and The Beatles. Whether it was “Hound Dog” or “Hey Jude,” his voice and spirit filled the room with warmth, nostalgia, and love.
He is survived by the love of his life, Bonnie, and his five daughters and their spouses — Corie and Thomas Mueller, Erin and Patrick Riley, Kelly, Sarah and Joseph Balestrieri, and Shannon — who loved him dearly, miss him deeply, and carry his humor, integrity, and music in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his parents; his younger sister, Jody; and his younger brother, Phillip.
A memorial service will be held at Christ Church in Mequon, WI on August 2nd. Visitation will commence at 10AM followed by the memorial service at 11AM. All are welcome to attend and celebrate his life. We invite all attendees to dress in whatever makes them feel most themselves. This is a celebration of life, and we want everyone to feel comfortable, authentic, and at ease as we honor Bill’s memory.
As his favorite movie "Rocky" reminded us: “It ain’t about how hard you can hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.” That’s exactly how he lived — quietly courageous, unwavering in love, and resilient through every challenge life placed before him.
He will be missed beyond words.
