Wayne Larry Greenfield

 

Wayne was born in Waupun, WI, on Oct. 26th, 1945, to Ray and Hattie Greenfield. He was the youngest of 8 children and grew up on the family farm. Wayne graduated from Central Wisconsin Christian High School and went on to serve his country. Wayne served in the Air Force from 1963-1967. 

 

Wayne met his wife, Rachel, while attending Brookfield Christian Reformed Church and they married on May 18, 1972, and together they had one daughter, Jackie. 

 

Wayne enjoyed fishing, watching the Packers, and Brewers. He enjoyed listening to old hymns or jazz on the radio. He loved a good cup of strong, hot coffee! 

 

Wayne was a man of faith and was a long time member of Brookfield Christian Reformed Church. He served as an usher and was involved in several life groups and men's Bible study. 

 

Wayne was very thankful for the care he received over the years through the VA Hospital in Milwaukee. His family would like to especially thank the staff from 9A where he spent the last year. 

 

A Memorial service will be held at Brookfield Christian Reformed Church, Friday Nov. 4th. Visitation from 11:30-13:00 and a service to follow.
