Virginia Jasinski, age 91, passed away August 31, 2020 at Clement Manor in Greenfield, Wisconsin, where she had resided since 2014.
Virginia was born in Milwaukee on April 7, 1929. She graduated from Messmer High School, and worked for many years as a secretary: in Milwaukee, New York City, and Chicago, where she was employed by the Chicago Symphony. From 1952 to 1954 Virginia was a civilian employee with the US Army of Occupation in Germany. She availed herself of the opportunity to travel throughout Germany and across Europe; visiting France, England, Scotland, Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and Norway. In retirement Virginia volunteered with Milwaukee Public Schools as a classroom assistant. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed crafts, particularly knitting.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Frances (Wilczewski) Jasinski; as well as her three younger brothers: Robert, Leroy and Dennis Jasinski. She is survived by three sisters-in-law: Ruth Jasinski, Therese Jasinski, and Gloria Cody; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family thanks the staff of Clement Manor for the kind and compassionate care they extended to Virginia over the last six years.
