Thomas Michael Boyce

It is with great sorrow that the family of Thomas (Tom) Boyce of Greenfield, WI announces his unexpected passing on Tuesday, March 29th, 2022, at the age of 78. Tom was born on June 20th, 1943, in Milwaukee, WI. He was a strong, honorable, and dedicated man who devoted many years of his life to helping others. Tom spent his early 20’s in the Army Reserves and had a long and brave career serving his community as a Milwaukee Fire Fighter and Fire Lieutenant for over 34 years. Tom will be profoundly missed by his wife and love of his life, Eleanor (Dolly) Boyce; his children Michael Boyce, Thomas (Karen) Boyce, Michelle (Brian) Knox, and Heather (Chris) Lesnik; his grandchildren Ashley (Danny) Inman, Kayla (Nathan) Krause, Emma (Tyler) Krause, Katee Boyce, Andrew Boyce, Sadie Lesnik, and Charlie Lesnik; and his great grandchildren Cole Inman and Elodie Bohmann. He also leaves behind many other close friends and loved ones. Tom was proceeded in death by his parents George and Margaret Boyce and his brothers William and Robert Boyce. Anyone that knew Tom knows that few things in life made him as proud as his family. He took great pride in the success and achievements of his children and grandchildren and was always a major support in all of their lives. Besides spending time with family, Tom enjoyed going fishing “up nort”, meeting up with his friends at happy hour weekly, smoking cigars in his favorite spot in the garage, tending to his tomato plants and flowers, and watching the Packers play. Tom was also a lover of all thing’s food. He was an expert griller and a master at cooking his famous Thanksgiving stuffing every year. There are not enough words to describe the immense impact Tom made on all of those around him. He was a one-of-a-kind man who will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all. A memorial service to celebrate Tom’s life will be held on April 24th, 2022, at D’Vine on 7228 S 27th St. in Oak Creek, WI from 3 – 7 pm. Please stop by to pay your respects, share some stories, and toast to Tom’s life. Service will be in event hall located at back of building. Please park in the back parking lot and use private entrance.
