Thomas M. Freeck., 61, from Milwaukee, WI, passed away shortly after being diagnosed with pancreatic/liver cancer on September 20, 2022, surrounded by family.
Tom is survived by his father, Gerald Freeck; sisters, Mary Jo Hohmann (Rolf), Julie Freeck, and Sandra DeKarske (Craig); brothers, Daniel Freeck and Michael Freeck (Marla); daughter, Rachel Pulizos (Adam Colby); and grandchildren, Aiden, Myra, Blaze, and Nova. Loving “Uncle Cool” to Craig, Nickolous, Rachel, Heather, Peter, Stephen, Jason, Brandon, Aaron, Tyler, Abigail, Megan, and Lauren. Great “Uncle Cool” to Hailey, Leah, Camryn, Alexa, Brynn, Ava, Nolan, Jace, and Autumn.
Tom is preceded in death by his mother, Joanne Freeck and aunt, Heidi Hoover.
Tom has been lifelong friends with Brian Bangart (Renee) and Dave Schneider (Laura), and will be missed by many other friends and acquaintances.
Tom had the biggest heart of gold, was loved by all, and always willing to give a helping hand. Tom was known as “Uncle Cool” to his nieces and nephews and lived up to that name by spoiling them, having no rules during sleepovers, and pulling various shenanigans with them, usually by being the main instigator.
Tom always had a way of coming up with money making schemes and sharing his “business propositions” with other people, up to the very end.
Tom was an avid Packer fan and his many interests, like traveling, going to races, concerts, and other activities were things he enjoyed to do with family and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at Davian’s, N56W16300 Silver Spring Drive, Menomonee Falls, on Sunday, October 16th from 1PM to 5PM. We will have a gathering for sharing your memories and stories of Tom, and fellowship after.
The family would like to thank the doctors at Froedtert and the team at Aurora Zilber Hospice for their compassionate care during Tom’s short stay.
