Thomas Patrick
Flynn
May 29, 1938 — Aug 22, 2026
Thomas Patrick Flynn, a resident of West Allis, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026, at the age of 88.
Born on May 29, 1938, to Raymond and Lillian Flynn, Tom was raised in Redgranite, Wisconsin. He attended Redgranite grade school and went on to graduate from Berlin High School in 1955.
On April 2, 1960, Tom married the love of his life, Diane Wiskow. Together, they built a wonderful life and raised a family. Tom had a successful and innovative career as a mechanical engineer, proudly serving as an inventor on both U.S. and international patents, and was one of the founders of Super Products, a manufacturer of vacuum trucks currently located in Mukwonago.
Tom lived a full life with a wide array of passions. He loved baseball and bowling, had a lifelong fascination with airplanes and trains, and enjoyed capturing the world through photography. With a famously green thumb, he also found great joy in gardening, spending many peaceful hours tending to his tomatoes. An avid traveler and a true friend to all creatures, Tom held a special fondness for animals of all kinds, particularly cats.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diane; his children, Thomas Patrick Flynn, Jr. (Mary Sarb) of Chicago, IL, and Terri S. Flynn (Tom Heraly) of Shorewood, WI; and step-daughter, Pam Martin of Lohrville, WI.
Tom will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
The family would like to thank the staff at Froedtert Hospital and Zilber Family Hospice for their compassionate care.
Internment will be private.
