Terence Andrew Jones

Terence “Terry” Andrew Jones, 64, of Ixonia, WI, passed away on May 26, 2024, after a short battle with cancer.

Terry was born on November 12, 1959, in Hollywood, CA, to Harry Jones and Patricia Carey. He grew up in Milwaukee, WI, and graduated from Bayview High School in 1977.

Terry had a successful career as a buyer for numerous companies over his 20 years in the field. His colleagues remember him as dedicated, organized, creative, and one heck of a negotiator.

Beyond his professional life, Terry was known for his love of fishing, hunting, and making jerky out of nearly everything imaginable. He was exceptional at darts, respectable at cribbage, and passable at golf. He was also a devoted pee wee baseball coach.

Family was paramount to Terry. He is survived by his wife (Sue), daughter (Mandy), and son-in-law (Travis). He was a beloved brother to Mike and Jeff, and uncle to many. He was preceded in death by his parents (Harry and Pat) and siblings (Matthew, Jaclynn, and Timothy).

Friends and family remember Terry for his heart of gold, generosity, deep friendship, and sense of humor. His legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew him.

A celebration of life to honor Terry will be held at Lyons Irish Pub, located at 201 E. Main St., Watertown, WI, on Saturday, June 8th from 2PM-5PM. 

In lieu of flowers, Terry and his family would prefer that you plant a tree in Terry’s honor.

Terry will be dearly missed, but his memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege to know him.
