Suzanne Krebs Mettelman, born July 28, 1932, passed away on May 29, 2015. Suzanne was the beloved husband of Dr. Douglas Mettelman for 62 years. She was the loving mother of Deborah (Stephen) Hogan; Douglas (Laura) Mettelman; Mark (Dana) Mettelman; Jane (John) Stoneman; and Timothy (Shannon) Mettelman. She was the special grandmother to Shannon and Sean Hogan; Matthew, Robert and William Mettelman; David and Lindsey Mettelman; Michael, Anna, Lauren and Katherine Stoneman; and Molly and Suzanna Mettelman. She is survived by a brother, Dr. John F. Krebs (Mary) and several nieces and nephews.
Suzanne graduated in 1950 from Wauwatosa East High School and attended the University of Colorado in Boulder; the National College of Education in Evanston, IL; and Prospect Hall in Milwaukee. She was former member of the Western Racquet Club, Heritage Garden Club and the Sit and Sew Club. Suzanne volunteered for many years for Mayfair Interfaith.
Services will be held on Thursday, June 4, at 11:00 a.m., at All Saints' (Episcopal) Cathedral, 818 E. Juneau Avenue, Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials should be made to Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee, WI.
