Suzanne Catherine Jarmakowicz

Sue Jarmakowicz of Hayward, WI, passed away peacefully in Kenosha on March 29, 2023, at the age of 68. She is survived by her brother, Richard; sister-in-law, Lori; and nieces, Claudia and Britta. She is further survived by her many friends including, William Petrovic and Tresa Gaspich, who provided her with much support during her final months.

Sue was preceded in death by both of her parents, Anselma (nee Domines) and Stanley Jarmakowicz.

Sue was born in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, and had careers in finance and real estate. In 2003, she graduated from UW-Parkside, becoming a math teacher. She taught at Kenosha high schools until 2020 and then moved to Hayward where she taught at the Lac Court Oreilles Ojibwe School until January 2023. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards/board games, visiting with her nieces, and lively conversation.

A gathering to celebrate the life of Sue will be held Sunday, April 30, 2023, from 1 PM to 4 PM at Kolssak Funeral Home 189 S. Milwaukee Avenue, Wheeling, IL 60090. In lieu of flowers donations to the Susan G. Komen Foundation (komen.org) are appreciated.
