Susan E. Ploor, 84

Beloved mother Susan E. Ploor passed away unexpectedly on October 29, 2024, after a brief illness (sepsis).

Susan was born in August 1940 and raised in Two Rivers, WI, as the oldest of four kids. She loved to play on the Lake Michigan beach in the summers. As a young woman, she married and moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Northern and Southern California with her three children John, Michael, and Pam, and her husband. She was a dedicated and loving mother who always found time to be a Brownie troop leader or make Boy Scouts’ fundraising pizzas in the church basement. She also whipped up a delicious dinner when she unexpectedly had business guests for dinner. After her children grew up, Susan returned to Wisconsin and lived in Grafton, WI, for nearly 20 years.

Susan worked as a Medical Assistant and an Operations Manager, including at the Mequon office of A.G. Edwards. She was passionate about cooking and baking. She was never too busy to bring a homemade dish to the office to celebrate someone else’s special day. She had a green thumb and loved gardening. She loved football, especially the Packers, fishing, her pet poodles, and spending time with family. Susan will be remembered for her warm personality and easy smile.

Her parents Leo and Edna Ploor, and her brother Gregory, already passed. Her children, six grandchildren, and sisters Carole (wife to Edward Last) and Marlene (wife to John Herrmann) survive her. A private funeral service will be held for family.

We will forever hold Susan’s many acts of love in our hearts and memories.
