Robert Thomas Champion

Robert T Champion, age 47, passed away due to natural causes on December 29, 2023. Born and raised in Lombard and a graduate of Glenbard East, Rob had a passion for listening, creating, and playing music, especially drums and percussion. He even took time to learn various instruments and write music. He collected recordings of concerts and loved attending live shows locally and across the states. He enjoyed designing works of art, storytelling, and going on adventures.

Rob is survived by his three children, Waylon, Iris, and Neil; parents, Tom and Karen Champion; sisters, Jennifer (Joe) Nardulli and Stephenie (Mark) Rychlik; a niece, four nephews, and loving mother of his children, Kristen Smith. He is remembered by his many family members and friends, who he made many memories with over the years.

Although Rob had challenges in life, he is now at peace. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
