Robbie Young, 63, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away on September 7, 2024. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on January 23, 1961, Robbie dedicated much of his life to serving his community and country. 

A proud veteran, Robbie served in the Army, where he embraced the discipline and camaraderie that military life offered. After his service, he continued to protect and serve as a Security Officer, notably at Froedtert Hospital, where he worked for 17 years until his retirement in November 2015. 

Described by those who knew him as a loving husband, father, grandpa, uncle, great brother-in-law, and friend, Robbie's compassionate nature touched many lives. He leaves behind his wife, Glynda Young; daughters, Yolanda Melton-Young (Brian) of Lemon Grove, California, and Alexandria Feavel (Andy) of West Allis, Wisconsin; son, Anthony Young of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Jeremiah Lybek, Za'liyah Bowers, and Mikaela Bowers; and his grand dog, Gracia. He is also survived by his sister, Louise Joiner of Chicago, Illinois; a special friend of the family, Elizabeth Melton of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Mother-in-Law, Elizabeth Kelly of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 

Robbie was preceded in death by his parents, Thelma and Leroy Young; his siblings, Kathleen and Eddie Dean Young, his twin brother, Bobbie Young, Edward Young Sr., Gary Young, and Melvie Jean Hall. 

Robbie attended Hamilton High School in Milwaukee and they count him among its alumni, a testament to his lifelong connection to the community. 

Robbie was a man of faith, actively involved in Faith Builders Church, which will also host his Memorial Services at 4901 S. Howell Street, Milwaukee, WI 53207. Home going Service: October 4, 2024, Time: 12:00 pm- 1:30 pm, with a Repast to follow after the service: 1:30 pm -3:30pm.

Robbie Young's life of service, both in uniform and in his civilian endeavors, as well as his unwavering faith and love for his family, will be deeply missed and forever cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
