Richard "Dick" A. Mack, 94, of Grafton, WI, passed away peacefully at home on December 9, 2023.
He was born on March 14, 1929, in Trego, WI. Dick was a hard worker and could tackle any project, despite challenges with his eyesight. He enjoyed his job as a machinist at Starline Manufacturing for over 40 years and cherished the friendships he made there, especially with his best work friend, Ken Czerniak, and his wife, Sandra.
Dick was an avid woodworker and could fix almost anything. He found joy in keeping busy and making things for people or helping them. Outside of work, Dick and his wife, Ruth, enjoyed doing everything together, including dancing and caring for their dogs. Peaches, his current companion, was dear to his heart, and he appreciated her company.
Dick will be deeply missed by his beloved son, Kenneth Mack (Jean) of Grafton, WI; treasured sister, Phyllis Swanstrom of Apache Junction, AZ; and other loved nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his wife and lifelong friend, Ruth (nee Szablewski); as well as his parents, Phillip and Lucy (Pierce) Mack; and devoted brother, Keith (Phyllis) Mack.
Many thanks to everyone at Aurora Cedar Creek, especially Dr Nashid, Kelly, Chelsea, Aurora Hospital, Specialists at the Aurora hospital, Aurora Hospital Emergency Room, Aurora Hospice, and all who were so kind and compassionate to Dick during his life journey.
