1937 "King Richard" "Dick" 2024

Richard Alan Liberski

August 24, 1937 — August 24, 2024

Greendale

Leave it to “King Richard” to depart this world on the same date that he entered it.

Dick was born in Milwaukee and graduated from Bay View High School in 1955. He was a self-taught chemist who worked as a chemicals salesman and consultant. He retired to the north woods of Wisconsin, which he called God’s country. He enjoyed being surrounded by wildlife, fishing, hunting, and hosting family and friends. Dick had a quick wit and was always ready with a joke. He was a jackass of all trades and left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Dick spent his last day surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his children: Bruce (Andrea) Liberski, Darlene (Lyndon) Rosser, and Linda Liberski. He was grandfather to Miles Liberski and Paige Liberski. He was big brother to Cathy (Gary) Ringwelski, Dean (Diana) Liberski, and Sherry James. Further survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives. Preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Florence Liberski; his sister, Joyce Meland; and his brother-in-law, Marshall Meland.

Thank you to the teams at Harbour Village in Greendale and Allay Home & Hospice in Franklin for taking care of our father during his years with Lewy body dementia.

Please join us for a casual celebration of life on Monday, September 9, 2024, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Historic Hose Tower at 5699 Parking Street in Greendale.
