Phyllis C. Jones

Phyllis C. Jones passed away on June 28, 2024 at the age of 102. Phyllis is survived by her son Bob Jones and daughter Barbara (Larry) Reinecke. She was preceded in death by Robert Jones, her husband of 51 years, brother Oliver Lechmaier and parents Phillip and Mary Lechmaier.

Phyllis grew up in Milwaukee, graduated from Messmer H.S. and was a long-time member of St. Margaret Mary parish. She lived the last 68 years in Wauwatosa. She had many friends from the many clubs and organizations she belonged to including Suburban Woman's Club, Currie Park Garden Club, the Depression Era Glass Club and bridge clubs.

Phyllis enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and putting her talent to work on many different projects. She made, refinished and reupholstered furniture and sewed draperies for her home of 6o years. She never liked to be idle and only slowed down as age caught up to her in her 90s.
