Paul M. Zamecnik

Paul M. Zamecnik, of Milwaukee, WI, passed away on June 13, 2026. His death came after two weeks in the hospital due to a traumatic head injury, followed by 2 days in hospice. He passed away peacefully with his wife, Ellen Schumm, by his side. He is also survived by his brother, William, as well as nephews and a niece. 

Paul will be remembered for his love of dogs, sports and bicycles. He loved working on his bike, going to Brewer's games, watching football and car racing on TV. He was also absorbed in politics and tried to be active when he could. 

We will have a Celebration of Life event at some  time in the future. Date to be determined.
