Paul Malzewski passed away peacefully and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He lived a life defined by service, devotion to family, and a love for the simple joys that brought people together.
He is survived by his son, William (Bill); daughter-in-law, Elizabeth; and grandchildren: Seth, Ashlyn, and Trevor, who brought him great joy.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Debbie (2018), and son, Dan (2021), losses he carried with quiet strength and enduring love.
A Vietnam Veteran, Paul proudly served in the United States Army from 1969 to 1971 as a Military Police officer. His service to his country remained a source of lifelong pride to him and his family.
Outside of his military service, he was an avid bowler, most proud of his significant victory at the Peterson Classic in 1985. The winnings from that tournament played a meaningful role in allowing him to purchase his home in Big Bend, Wisconsin, where him and Debbie raised their two sons and lived for 28 years, building a life full of memories.
He owned and operated a sports card and memorabilia business for many years, a passion that allowed him to share countless hours collecting, trading, and bonding with his boys and many friends were made over the years, moments he treasured deeply.
He also loved going to the casino, and in the last few months of his life, he was grateful for several special outings shared with his son and daughter-in-law, creating memories that will be forever cherished.
Though he will be dearly missed, his family takes comfort in knowing he is now peacefully celebrating in heaven, reunited with those who preceded him in death.
In Lieu of Flowers the family is asking to make donations in memory of Paul towards a cause helping Veterans who are struggling with instability in housing and life. Veterans Community Project of Milwaukee
