IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia Lutze
Aaholm
January 11, 1944 – December 13, 2025
Patricia Lutze Aaholm, age 81, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025, at Sharon Richardson’s Community Hospice, in the presence of her loving family.
Patricia was born on January 11, 1944, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, to Raymond and Helene Lutze. She attended Jefferson Elementary School and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1962, beginning a life deeply rooted in her hometown and community.
She was married to Richard Aaholm from 1966 to 1973, and together they had two children, Jan and John. While raising her children, Patricia worked in Sheboygan as a legal secretary and receptionist, earning the respect of colleagues for her reliability, kindness, and professionalism until her retirement in 2009.
Faith played an important role in Patricia’s life. While her children were in school, the family were active members of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, where Patricia frequently played the piano and organ for worship services. Later, she was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, and most recently St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.
Patricia will be remembered as compassionate, caring, and generous. She found joy in music, whether performing or attending live events, as well as reading and crafting, pursuits that reflected her thoughtful and creative spirit. Family gatherings were especially important to Patricia, and she cherished time spent with loved ones. Over the past ten years while living with Jan, she also deeply enjoyed the companionship of her pets, particularly walks with Jan and Brody, Jan’s Great Pyrenees, during the last few months when it became difficult for her to be active.
She is survived by her daughter, Jan Aaholm; son, John Aaholm; granddaughter, Lauren Aaholm; brothers, Gerald (Eileen) Lutze and Timothy Lutze; and sister-in-law, Susanne Lutze. She is also survived by nieces: Tammy (Joe) Hall, Erika (John) Igo, Holly (Andre) Guerin, Anna (Andrew) Bayliss, and Elizabeth Lutze; and nephew, Brett Lutze. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Helene Lutze; brother, Robert Lutze; and sister-in-law, Cathlyn Lutze.
Patricia wished to be cremated, and in lieu of a memorial service, she invites loved ones to share memories, moments, or photos on her obituary website. Memorial donations may be made to Sharon Richardson Community Hospice.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Sharon Richardson and Aurora Home Hospice for their compassion and professionalism, which helped Patricia pass peacefully into the afterlife.
“Afterglow” by Carol Mirkel
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.Visits: 140
