Michael John Woeste

Michael (Mickey) Woeste, age 83, passed way peacefully on September 30, 2024. 

Mike retired from (then) Waukesha Engine Dresser, Inc., after 35+ years. He loved the challenge and the precision thinking of his machinist repair work and the life long friends he made.

His love of wood working and creativity had him building beautiful furniture for our home and the homes of many others. His wood projects would often be more than asked for because he would get carried away in the love of doing it - no simple anything for him.

He also enjoyed gardening and reading (no novels). He would endlessly read political news and cookbooks - he loved to cook. Food and doing things for others was how he showed his love.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian; father, Joseph; brothers: Richard, Robert, and David; and sister, Mary Jean.

Mickey will be dearly missed by his wife, Pam, and wonderful children: Beth (Greg) Welke, Steve (Kristy) Woeste, and stepson, Peter (Marilou) Kloss; his grandchildren: Jenna, Jack (Rachel), Sadie, Rio, and Benjamin; great-grandchildren, Atlas and Zane; those close to his heart: friends, Andy and Charmaine; cousins, Sue and Bill; and sisters-in-law: Maureen, Darlene, and Lynn; and many more relatives, friends, and neighbors.
