Lentz, Michael D. of Milwaukee, WI, passed away peacefully in hospice care on May 28, 2025, age 63. Michael was preceded in death by parents, Genevieve (nee Lange) & Walter Lentz and sister, Susan (Joe) Pappalardo. He is loved and survived by sisters: Shirley Burleson, Sharon (Les) Wallace, Sheila Wright, and Sandy (Vince) Ferrera. Also survived and loved by 9 nieces and nephews. With no children of his own, he was their “Uncle Mike”.
He lived on the east side of Milwaukee as a youngster before moving to Pound, WI, after our father retired. He graduated from Coleman High School. Mike was a graduate of Milwaukee School of Engineering and worked at the Performing Art Center while in college. He also worked at Marinette Marine and several engineering companies in Milwaukee.
He resided at Ohio House for the last 3 years and we are greatly appreciative of his community there who supported and cared for Michael in many ways. We also thank all those in his care at Froedtert Hospital while he was in ICU and Zilber Hospice for helping him on his final journey.
There will be a family celebration of life in Milwaukee and a private burial at First Baptist Cemetery in Pound, WI.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Michael Lentz can be made to Wisconsin Chapter of National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) or Zilber Hospice.
