Age 78 years. Born to life on December 16, 1946, son of Raymond and Bernadine Beaupre Grimmer, passed away suddenly August 13, 2025, at home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Michael was the youngest in his family of 13 children. He grew up on the east side of Milwaukee and attended Marquette High School and Marquette University. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend, as well as a principal and teacher who dedicated his life to sharing knowledge with others. He loved playing bridge, learning, and the natural world, and spent his free time in retirement teaching at Clement Manor. He enjoyed walks with his friends and took a great interest in human interactions. He loved to be outside and he enjoyed planting trees. He was a great conversationalist and loved sharing ideas.
Michael is survived by his siblings: Jerry (Marge) Grimmer, Tim (Karen) Grimmer, Terry Grimmer, Larry Grimmer, and Denny (Jean) Grimmer; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Sr. Mary Ellen Grimmer, SSSF, Joan (Larry) Baker, Pat (Marvin) Knuth, Raymond (Georgia) Grimmer, Frances (Al) Kohn, Dorothy (Ed) Capper, and John (Dee) Grimmer.
A celebration of life and social will take place Saturday, September 20th, at River Barn Park Pavilion in Mequon at 12:00 p.m.
