Michael Joseph Fuchs

Michael Joseph Fuchs passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 59, after a valiant battle with multiple cancers.

Loving father of Joseph Fuchs. Cherished father figure of Daniel Fuchs. Treasured brother and lifelong best friend of Ronald Fuchs (Karen Kortsch). Beloved brother of Diane Fulton (Richard), Kathy Jacques (David), Janet Gramza (Richard), and Donna Wielgus (David). Also survived by his precious canine companion, Shadow. Further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Michael was born in October of 1963 to the late Alvin and Margaret (Clancy) Fuchs in Milwaukee, WI, and died at his home in West Allis. He was also preceded in death by his former wife, Denise Fuchs, and former mother-in-law, Darlene Ziol.

Mike graduated from Milwaukee Technical High School in 1981 and Waukesha Technical College in 1983. He choose machining as his career in high school and became an apprentice and journeyman Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Machinist.  He worked at BHW Bearing which later became Milwaukee Bearing and he also worked at Hanel Corporation both for many years each.

Mike loved fishing most of all. His love of fishing started early on with fishing trips to lakes all over Wisconsin with his father and brother.  He loved travelling to Canada to fish and really loved the one fly-in trip we made. Mike loved camping at Rivers End Resort in Marquette Wisconsin so he could fish as much as he wanted on the Fox River, and he did catch lots of fish there.

Michael was cremated per his request, and there will be no wake.  

Family, friends, and coworkers are invited to the Mike Fuchs Memorial Celebration.
