Born into this world August 12,1985, passed on to be with God, January 1, 2023.
The world lost a really good one and it is indeed a much colder and emptier place with his absence.
Matt (Matthew) is the father of two beautiful, precious, and loving children, Kaden and Olivia Haas, who were adored by him. The mere mention of his children to him brought a gleam to his eyes and a smile to his lips. They shared so many adventures together.
Matt is further survived by his loving brother, Aaron (wife, Heather) Haas, who carries their dreams, goals, and adventures onward through their love and sincere bond. He leaves his parents, Tim Haas and Beth Overdier, with much sorrow and sadness, but with the enduring honor of Matt being their son and the sincere appreciation for having Matt in their lives for evermore.
Other mourning relatives include his nieces, Lillian and Layla Haas; nephew, Ronan Haas; cousins, Troy, Todd, and Jason Deibert, Zachary Haas, Steve and Scott Pfeiffer, Fred, Michael, Joel and Barbara Overdier; along with many aunts and uncles. Matt was proceeded in moving on to the life everlasting by his favorite aunt, Jules Haas. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Chrystal Brown, who we know will endeavor to honor his memory and gentle loving spirit as she raises their two children and keeps his memory alive through them.
In addition to being an overall wonderful parent, Matt, was a gifted mechanic, music buff, lover of all things outdoors, a thoughtful listener, an adventurer, and a really good friend to so many people. Our lives have been enhanced by knowing him.
In celebration of Matt’s life and to honor the brightness which he brought to the world. we are gathering at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 1200 S. Moreland Rd, Brookfield, WI, on Saturday, February 4, 2023, to share stories and memories of our time together with Matt. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM to 3:00PM, with a service at 3:00PM and a reception to follow.
