Matthew P. Brick

January 29, 1982 — December 18, 2025

Franklin

Matthew P. Brick, of Franklin, WI, passed away on December 18, 2025. He was born January 29, 1982, on a beautiful sunny day, but the snow gods had other plans for him. By the time we left the hospital and arrived home, the snow was piled 3 feet in front of the house. Don had to let me out of the truck 2 doors down, and the neighbors were not happy about it. That’s how Matthew began his journey. Matt loved to sing. He was in a few high school musicals and sang in the church choir and school choir. He worked backstage for our churches little theater productions too. Matt struggled with what to do with his life after school. College was not his cup of tea. When he started his apprenticeship, we thought he was on the right track. Not until he got a job at Miller brewery did he thrive. He was home. Matt’s family life was filled with joy, only because of his stepson. Jayden was the reason for his being. God knows Matt was a good man and father to Jayden. He will forever be remembered as  the gentle giant. Matthew was led by his fathers’ hand to heaven. Donald William Brick passed away April 19th 2025. Matthew is survived by his mother, Catherine A Brick and his sister, Katie A Pardun( Michael Pardun). He is also survived by his niece Nora and his Nephew Roman Pardun. And of course, his stepson Jayden. We all love you and miss you. And we will always be looking for that smile up in the clouds, or maybe a beautiful sunset will make us think of you.     We will be having a memorial for Matt in a month or so. We will send out the information when it is available. Thank you for all the kind messages and support you have shown our family. Peace out.
