Mary K. Eastwood

Eastwood, Mary K. (nee Kirchhoff), age 88, moved on from life October 16, 2024. Mary grew up in Wauwatosa, graduating from Wauwatosa West High School in 1954. Her adult career was spent working for Sax Arts & Crafts as store manager at their various Milwaukee locations. Being surrounded by all things related to art was a passion. Her love of art and artists drove her to volunteer at MIAD during retirement. Mary was an avid reader who always had a book nearby, along with a faithful canine at her feet and a feline companion in her lap. Her proudest accomplishment in life - purchasing and restoring an Italianate style home built in 1855, within the Historic Brewer's Hill neighborhood of Milwaukee. 

Mary is preceded in death by parents, Payson G. Kirchhoff, Sr. and Evelyn (Judd) Kirchhoff; along with siblings: Burton Jones, Payson G. Kirchhoff, Jr., and Holly Toman. She is survived by children, Philip T. Resch, Jr. (Joann) and Leslie Chesney (Dennis); along with grandchildren: Jason Slock (Stephanie) and Courtney Luebke. Mary is further survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many, many friends.

Per her wishes, there will be no formal services held.
