Marvin Robert O'Donnell

Marvin Robert O'Donnell - of West Allis, age 68, died Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at home, surrounded by ones who loved him dearly. Marvin was preceded in death by parents, Leroy and Glendora O’Donnell. Survived by his wife, Cheryl O’Donnell, his children, April O’Donnell, Darrell (Sarah) Bublitz and Shawn O’Donnell. His siblings, Leroy O’Donnell, Glen O’Donnell, Denis (Sue) O’Donnell, Gail (Jerry) Segerson , Bill (Margaret) O’Donnell, Tim (Vicky) O’Donnell. His grandchildren, Austin and Brooklyn Bublitz, Ava and Memphis O’Donnell. He is also survived by aunts, an uncle, multiple nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday March 13th from 12 to 4 at Friends On Forest Home for those who would like to attend. The Adress is: 5614 West Forest Home Ave, Greenfield, WI. I was asked to write a little something to remember my dad I wondered how I could write something that would really encompass the life he had Three children called him dad, four called him grandpa, six siblings called him brother He was the love of one person’s life, my forever loving mother He grew up on a farm and then went off to travel Hiking and exploring anywhere the paved streets turned to dirt and gravel A lone wolf who one day found his soulmate Created a love so strong that it could only be described as fate They built a home and started a family tree They planted their roots and then they had me I grew up knowing what love is every single day And realizing that the bond of family never goes away I’ll miss his gentle words of wisdom and his guiding hand I’ll miss all of his mannerisms that only those closest to him could understand He loved nature and looking up towards the sky and showering his family with love that no one could deny I know in our hearts is where he will always be and that I should finish this with his famous signature, Just Me - Written by April O’Donnell
