Lucille Janet Krebs

Lucille Janet Krebs, known to her loved ones as Lucille, passed away on July 24, 2023, in West Allis, WI. She was born on November 12, 1937, in Greenfield, WI, Milwaukee County. Lucille was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her family and many dear friends.

Lucille was a fun-loving individual who enjoyed watching Nascar races and Green Bay Packer games on TV. She cherished every moment spent with her family and friends, finding joy in their company.

Lucille is survived by her son Richard (Debbie) Krebs Jr.; eldest daughter, Linda Lay; youngest daughter, Lois (Drew Lewis) York-Lewis; and her Teacup Poodle, GiGi.

Lucille leaves behind a legacy of love and is survived by 19 grandchildren and step-grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a plethora of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. 

Lucille was preceded in death by her beloved husband and best friend, Richard; her parents, Frank and Johanna Tiedt; her brothers and sister; son-in-law, Barry York; and great-granddaughter, Sarah Lay.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm, followed by a service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, located at S66W14325 Janesville Rd, Muskego, WI 53150. A post-service reception will be held in the Grace Room.

Lucille will forever be remembered for her love of family, her zest for life, and the memories she created with those around her. May she rest in peace.
