Lore Fahrenholz, age 55, passed away on Wednesday, September 14th, 2022, at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, in Milwaukee, WI. Lore fought hard and fearlessly during a long battle with cancer and unfortunately gained her wings while in hospice.
Lore is survived by her two children: Jacqueline “Jackie” (David) Smith, and Dylan Fahrenholz. Four grandchildren; Keegan Seibel (14), Aiden Fahrenholz (10), Kaiden Smith (9), and Kolton Smith (6). Long-time friend; Harish Mehta, bonus daughter; Nilda Alvarez, nephew; Ian Fahrenholz, two sisters; Angelika (Keith) Schutz, and Lynn (Tom) Sobczak, in addition to many other distant and extended family members, and cherished long-time friends.
Lore was preceded in death by her loving parents; Heinz U. E. and Magda Sophie Fahrenholz, and sister; Irene Fahrenholz.
Lore’s family wishes to thank the amazing doctors, nursing staff, hospice team, and Chaplain Kathy at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center for providing exceptional patient care and support during this difficult time. In addition, many thanks to the co-workers and friends whom Lore grew closely with at the Aurora Franklin Clinic, Community Care, Lutheran Social Services, and the School Sisters of St. Francis. Lore spent most of her adult life taking care of others as a CNA and most recently as a Certified Medical Assistant.
To honor Lore’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service. The family invites you to privately celebrate Lore’s memory in a way that is meaningful to you. Lore’s children and grandchildren will miss her fierce, stubborn, and authentic self.
