Linda Gardner of West Allis, WI, passed away after her battle with cancer on December 11, 2022, at the age of 73 years old.
Linda attended college at UW-Milwaukee and worked for Towers insurance before marrying Leon in 1975. Linda was a loving and devoted mother and worked for her children's middle school until continuing her insurance career with American Family Insurance where she worked for over 20 years before retiring in 2017. Linda loved to "play" in her gardens, spend time with her grandkids, and loved hosting holidays and family events. She loved UWM Basketball and attended almost all men's home basketball games for the past 20 years. Vacationing was a passion of Linda's, traveling across the United States, Ireland, and Asia, not to mention yearly visits to Myrtle Beach, SC ,and Hot Springs, AR.
Linda is survived by her husband of 47 years, Leon; daughter, Sarah (Eineichner); sons, William and Michael; grandchildren, Emma Jean, RJ, and Katherine Kangas; her sister, Debi (Lehmann; and brother, Ken Johnson. Cherished Aunt, Great Aunt, & Great-great aunt to many who will never forget her infectious smile, sarcastic humor, and kind manner.
Visitation will be held at Apostle Presbyterian Church, 1509 S. 76th Street, West Allis, WI, 53227, on Sunday, January 29th from 3-4pm, with a service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Apostle Presbyterian Church.
