Kathleen "Kathy" Melstrand passed away peacefully March 20, 2026, at the age of 81.
She is survived by her beloved husband Edward Melstrand and her children Lorolyn Hoppe (James), Craig (Emily), Brian, Jason, and Amy Welden (Paul).
Kathy is further survived by thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Aurora Medical Center Grafton for their kindness and care.
Welke's florist is assisting Kathleen's family for flowers or plants. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating the the American Heart Association.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17th from 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM at Wisconsin Memorial Park , Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI 53005. Memorial service will follow at 2:30 PM.
