Katherine Mary Rose Stange

Katherine (Katie Perronne) Stange, 44, formally of Waldo, passed away on Sunday July 10th, 2022, at her home in Mayville, WI, after a short battle with cancer. Katie was born on May 1st, 1978 to Dennis and Debbie Perronne. She graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1997 and received her CNA certification from Moraine Park Technical College in For Du Lac, WI. She is survived by her fiancé Ken Shafer, of Mayville, her parents Dennis and Debbie Perronne of Cascade, her grandson Oliver Bietler of Mayville, three sisters, Denise (Nathan) Paulish of Kiel, Rebecca (David) Spoon of West Allis and Mary Jo (Timothy) Schleicher of Sheboygan Falls. She is further survived by six nieces and nephews, Isabel Schueffner of Madison, Emily Siech, Fon Du Lac, Elizabeth Spoon of West Allis, Ivan Paulish of Kiel, Dominic and Jaxon Schleicher of Sheboygan Falls. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kathleen (Kat) Perronne of Cascade, her grandparents Richard and Kathleen Williams of Waldo and Emil and Connie Perronne of Sheboygan Falls. Her uncles, Gary Williams of Waldo, and Lynn Perronne of Sheboygan Falls. Katie leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins as well. “A caregiver at heart, Katie proudly worked as a CNA for Preceptor home health and hospice. She loved to bake, play cards, drink whiskey, and go fishing. She loved spending time with family and friends and was quick to give a helping hand in whatever was needed. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and cousin and will be dearly missed by everyone. “ On behalf of Katie’s fiancé Ken and her family, we would like to thank the Preceptor Home Health and Hospice family for all of their friendships, caring hearts and wonderful care they showed to Katie during her battle. A celebration of life for Katie will be announced at a later date.
