Katherine M. Ruder

Katherine (Katie) M. Ruder found peace on July 12, 2021, age 41. Katie is survived by her cherished sons Michael Pocaro and Benjamin Ruder-Keller, sister Sarah Ruder and brother Matthew (Stacy) Ruder, nephew Preston Ruder, and beloved parents David and Darlyn (nee McDermott) Ruder. Katie is further survived by aunts and uncles Jane (Rick) Wilson, Robin Ruder, Marla (Pat) Schulta, Penny (Dale) Jerzy, and many cousins and friends. Katie was preceded in death by uncle Richard Ruder, Grandma and Grandpa Ruder and Grandma McDermott. A kind, generous and loving person, Katie loved having cookouts and helping others. She also loved cats and helped many strays. The family would like to thank the staff of Ascension St. Francis Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. Private family services will be held. Memorials to Wisconsin Humane Society in lieu of flowers appreciated.
