Judith "Judy" Ann

Nov 21, 1945 — Sep 10, 2026
Judith “Judy” (nee Stobbe) Skinner, 80, of Hales Corners, WI, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa, WI. Judy was born on November 21, 1945, in Berlin, WI.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Skinner; her parents, Anita and John Stobbe; and her brother, Dennis Stobbe, and his wife, Carol.
She leaves behind her loving companion, Lee Velisarris; her devoted sister, Sandra Nutter, and her fiancé, David Leigh; Matt and Katie Velisarris; Kyle, Brenda, and Eddie Velisarris; Patti and Tom Stuart; and goddaughter, Cassy Pape; as well as numerous friends and relatives.
She truly was a dynamic force in a petite frame who devoted her life to serving others with empathy and zeal.
She taught and coached in the West Allis School District, WI, for over 30 years, where she motivated students and staff alike to develop the best side of themselves. After retiring from teaching, she continued this devotion to others by working at Curves, Gerrene’s, and Penzeys, always projecting an effervescent enthusiasm that helped others.
In addition to these jobs, she enjoyed many hobbies: gardening, reading, baking, sewing, seasonal decorating (both inside and out), walking, as well as working out at the Y. She always exhibited endless energy and was eager to help friends.
She was loved by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Donations may be made to PBS Milwaukee or Aurora Zilber Family Hospice, Wauwatosa.
