Family and friends mourn the passing of Joshua Ryan Hoeft born to life February 28, 1984 and taken to Heaven on July 18, 2020, age 36, after his year-long battle from a motorcycle accident. He is now face to face with God who was the guiding force in his life. Those that knew Josh lost a shining light in their lives. Being a father was his most important and happiest calling ever. He did the best he could to teach and guide his wonderful children, Joslynn and Macie Hoeft. He will be missed by his devoted mother, Cheryl (Cherie) A. Chaney (Gary Boisits), and Carol Hoeft, and will now be with his loving father, Michael James Hoeft (deceased). He was a great friend and mentor to everyone he met, particularly his siblings, Matthew (Liz) Hoeft, Nicholas (Jessica) Hoeft, Amanda (Jacob) Morgan, Brandon Morgan, and Lindsey Boisits, Ryan and Sarah Siebert. His care and enthusiasm for his nieces, nephews, and cousins was unmatched as was his love for his maternal grandparents Gabrielle and Dale Chaney (Florida), and his aunts and uncles. Josh was an amazing stepfather to Kelsie, Kendra, & Khloie Hernandez and ex-husband to Mandi Hoeft. Josh was engaged to Leah Lozano.
Josh introduced and lead so many people to the Lord. Joshua loved motorcycle riding, camping, fishing, and volleyball and would give the shirt off his back to anyone. Josh was always was high on life. As Josh snapchatted daily “Smile, Its Contagious.
Joshua was a graduate of Muskego High school. he worked at Diamond Disc International as a sales manager and also was the CEO and founder of Wisconsin Motorcycle Group Rides, Inc. (WMGR). He died doing what he loved the most, motorcycle riding, and we hope there are plenty of rides waiting for him in Heaven. His friends and neighbors throughout the year have said “We’ve got you back Josh”. Josh now has our backs.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday August 1st at Weatherstone Church, 1500 S West Lane, New Berlin, Wisconsin 53146, at 9 am for memories and picture viewing. A Celebration of Life sermon with Pastor Dave at 11 AM. From there we will start Josh’s memorial ride. We will head to seven bridges to spread his ashes. From there we will head through the east side up to Root River Center 7220 W. Rawson, Franklin for Volleyball, food and entertainment. Please bring your pictures and stories to share.
