Joseph Padovano, beloved father, grandfather, and dedicated educator, passed away at the age of 90 on May 19th. A retired Milwaukee public school teacher, Joseph touched countless lives through his passion for learning and knowledge, leaving an enduring legacy in the hearts of his students and loved ones.
Summers were spent surrounded by family and working for the Milwaukee County Park System, from assisting at Milwaukee Braves games to maintaining Doctors Park. His dedication to his community and the outdoors was evident in all he did.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue, and many cherished family members. He is survived by his three children, who carry forward his spirit: Joel (Mary Ann), father to Carissa, Gabi, and Stephen; Gina (Dominic), mother to Tara; and Damon (Claire), father to Ariana. He was a proud great-grandfather to Lance Kenneth James, with another great-grandchild, Emry Joseph Lindsay, soon to join the family.
A service and memorial will be held at a later date to honor Joseph’s life and the many memories shared with him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
