Joseph Peter Neu

Joseph Peter Neu of Linz, Austria, passed away peacefully on May 17th, 2023, at the age of 74.

Joseph graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a Bachelor’s degree in Education, specializing in History and English. Joseph was an avid bowler in his younger years and traveled around the United States to bowl competitively. Other hobbies of Joseph included fishing and hunting in the great Northwoods of Wisconsin. When he wasn’t bowling he was selling cars at Milwaukee’s Uptown Motors car dealership where he was a renowned Salesman and made many friends along the way. Joseph was an avid sports fan, especially the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. He even attended the last Packers playoff game held in Milwaukee. 

He is survived by his brother, John Neu. Loving Uncle to Julie (Robert) Gehrke and Johnny Neu. Loving Great-Uncle to Myah (Victor) Larrea, Melina (Austin) Ziolecki, Malorie Gehrke (Ryan Danner), and Annora Neu. He is further survived by many loving family members and friends. 

Joseph was preceded in death by both of his parents, Josef and Sophie Neu. 

Joseph's family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center ICU for their compassionate care.
