Joseph Phillip Abren

Joseph Abren, aged 38, found peace on Sunday, September 10th, 2023, after a long fight with illness.

Joey was born and raised in Fall River, Massachusetts. Joey was a simple man who enjoyed cooking amazing food and feeding everyone, he was a great fisherman, and found peace being at the water with his friend, Carmen Espinosa, in his final good health days. He was a long time worker at Sams Bakery in Fall River, and a great carpenter both in Massachusetts and Florida. Joseph was a great friend to the people he held close and cherished all the people in his life who showed him love.

Joseph is survived by his three children; Blaze, Elizabeth, and Joseph James, and their mother, Raeann Lopez, all of Fall River, MA; his father, Alan Abren of Milwaukee, WI; his sister, Sarah Schill-Berry, and her spouse, Zachery Schill-Berry, and their children, Charles, Sophia, and Thomas of Portsmouth, VA; his god parents, Dawn Miville and Dennis Miville; his best friend, Aires Silveira; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as his step father, Dennis Lawton.

He is predeceased by his mother, Gizelle Lena Abren, who loved him more than life; and his cousin, Whitney Miville - his best friend.

Services and burial will be private.
