John William Holman

June 21, 1989 — September 6, 2021

On Monday September 6, 2021 our shining star, John William Holman, was taken from us way too soon at the age of 32. John had a huge impact on many people during his life. Some of his accomplishments included: Graduating from Bradly Tech HS, being a nine year Navy man, obtained his bachelor’s degree in journalism and an MBA from UWM in five years and recently started a career in the trades as a glazer. To have known John is to feel his passion, compassion for everything that had to do with life. He was a devoted, loving husband and amazing “girl dad”. He loved hard and had a huge heart. He worked hard, he was a devoted and loving grandson, son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, co-worker and friend. He was an avid Wisconsin sports fan and was so excited he was able to witness the Bucks win the championship this year. He was also a very talented writer, song writer, and wrapper. And he loved frolfing. Harley Motorcycles are tradition in John’s family. He had recently purchased a Harley to start riding again with his dad, which is something he was really looking forward to. He leaves behind the love of his life Alyssa (Gomez) Holman who he married In 2015. They have two beautiful daughters - Amina Rae and Analise Olivia and two fur buddies Tank and Mia. He is also survived by William and Judy Holman (parents) Erin McFarlin (mom), Grandma Sue, Ricardo and Sandy Gomez (Father-in-law and mother-in-law). Also survived by brothers, sisters, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Private services were held, but there will be a celebration of life on Saturday September 18, 2021 at 1 pm, with military honors at 2pm at Graingers Bar and Grill 3400 W Loomis Rd Milwaukee WI. The family would like to thank everyone for their outpouring of support and generosity during this difficult time.
