John Paul Fetzer

Passed away peacefully on February 1, 2023, at the age of 66. Loving husband of Karen (nee Gillgren). Cherished Dad/Pa of Jim (Sara) and Katie. Treasured Grandpa of Brandon, Jazlyn, Jason, Jameson, Harrison, Fletcher, and Peter. Dear brother of David (Patti), the late Diana (Joel) Kelley, and the late Jo Ann. Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Anna (nee Puhl). Further survived by several nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

John’s smile lit up a room and he enjoyed giving out his trademark hugs. He loved the outdoors, hunting for morels in the spring and grifola frondosa in the fall, cooking rotisserie chickens on his beloved Weber grill, going out for a good breakfast, and fishing with his grandkids. The family would like to thank the staff at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center and Zilber Family Hospice for the loving and compassionate care given to John.
