Jeremy John Martens

Jeremy "Jermo" Martens, age 49, found peace on January 21, 2024. He was the son of Roger and Sandi Martens, the brother of Misty (Adam) Munzinger and Brian Martens, and the uncle of Zaria Martens.

Although born in Illinois and raised in Delafield, Wisconsin, Milwaukee was his city from college on. After graduating from Kettle Moraine High School, he obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. He also taught some Mechanical Engineering classes at the Waukesha County Technical College. He went on to co-found Cognitive Classroom, where he contributed to the development of educational math and science products. Of all his various occupations, Jeremy enjoyed providing tree cutting services the most.

His passions were motocross racing, snowmobiling, and enjoying concerts. He loved people unconditionally. His magnificent smiles and whole-hearted hugs brought joy to many, as well as his thoughtful gift giving and constant desire to serve others. He set the bar high for what kindness should look like.

A memorial gathering will be held for him in both Wisconsin and Illinois. In lieu of any flowers or gifts, please consider a donation to Aztalan Cycle Club in Jeremy's honor.
