Jennifer (Lewis) Larsen, 55, passed from this world on December 16, 2025. Loving wife to Jack, mother to Theodore, daughter to Sandra and Frederick Lenzke, daughter-in-law to Maxine Larsen, sister to Michael Lewis and Lisa Lenzke (Adam Munzlang), aunt to Alexandria, niece to Bud Gorski (Marcia) and mom to fur baby dog, Barry. Jen is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
Jen had many jobs in her lifetime, most recently in a veterinary clinic which fed into her love of animals.
Jen was a former Girl Scout member and for many years a camp counselor. She was also a multi time world champion as a color guard member (rifle and flag) of the Daley Debutantes Baton and Drum Corps. After retiring from competition she continued being active as a color guard instructor and taught multiple solo world champion rifle spinners.
Jen loved creating in various forms and achieved a college degree in art. Her many hobbies, aside from art, included listening to music, watching movies, doing puzzles and reading. Though she wasn’t able to do it as much these last few years, there wasn’t anything she enjoyed more than being with family and friends. She was always the one to bring people together and not let people sit on the side. She organized many get-togethers and parties, as well as initiating the idea of a new Cub Scout troop for Teddy and his classmates. Getting the troop going was the start of a bond between many of us parents that has continued throughout our kid's journeys from school to scouts to marching band and beyond.
A celebration of life for Jen will be held in Spring. Details are forthcoming. In lieu of flowers please donate to Lucky Mutts animal rescue or the charity of your choice.
