Jeff was a special and treasured Dad, Brother, Son, Cuz, and Friend to many. He passed away unexpectedly Wed, October 18, 2023, at the age of 57.
Jeff is survived by his loving and cherished daughter, Regan; his loving and caring parents, David and Karen; his favorite Sis, Lori Kehler; his favorite Bro, Gary; favorite sis-in-law, Laura; former wife and friend, Pam; and his loyal and very spoiled cat, Mister. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends, besties, and co-workers. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ollie and Leona.
Jeff was born in Milwaukee and grew up in New Berlin where many friendships were made. He graduated from New Berlin Eisenhower and then attended UW Madison where he studied Business, and where he became a devoted Badger. He spent the last 18yrs. of his career working for Mondelez International. (Think Nabisco... Oreo Cookies & Ritz Crackers).
Jeff was known to his siblings as "Bro", to his friends he was "Braz", and he was also "Bestie" to many, but his favorite was "Dad". Jeff was very proud of his daughter, Regan. They shared a very special bond, one that was strong and unbreakable. They had many similar mannerisms. They were 2 peas-in-a-pod. In fact, they could give "that look", a gesture, glance, or even make a sound that only they understood, often causing a smile or laughter from those observing.
Many of Jeff's favorite things to do involved sports (playing and watching) or the outdoors. He loved baseball, basketball, hockey, golf, fishing, football, Badger volleyball, or a good bon-fire! He loved a competition! He especially enjoyed talking politics and knew the lyrics to every song; especially the 80's and country. He and Regan also enjoyed listening to Christmas music and would listen to it all year long. He enjoyed quoting lines from movies and loved to banter his sister, Lori, with the help from his brother, Gary. He also enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. He was a co-founder of Quaker Monday's. Jeff could often be seen wearing a baseball cap, his cell-phone in one hand, and a cold beer in the other.
Jeff was a devoted fan and staunch supporter of the Badgers, Brewers, Bucks, and Packers. Please join us for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 11th from 3-7pm, at Bushy's Pub & Grill. In honor of Jeff's love for his Wisconsin sports teams we ask that you wear your favorite Wisconsin team jersey, shirt, or baseball cap. Gary, Jeff won't mind if you wear your Tampa Bay gear!
We LOVE you Jeff! We miss you so much already!
While we know you are watching over Regan from above, we will be her steady rocks here on earth and will continue to guide her in the loving way you always have.
As Jeff would say: MAGA- See Ya!
