Born to eternal life on November 29, 2022, age 87. Jim is survived by his Wife and life long best friend, Antonia (Toni) (Trujillo). Also survived by his admiring Children, Annalisa (Jim) Strupp, Mark, and Vicki (Eddie) Kriescher, and preceded in death by his Son, James E. Tomasek Jr.. Jim is also survived by his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren who adored their Grandfather.

Jim grew up on a farm near Antigo, Wisconsin, and worked the family farm with his Father, Edward, his Mother, Viola, and his siblings; his Sister, Jean, and his Brothers, Richard and Donald.

Jim served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was part of the Air Force Military Police and served for over 5 years in the Air Force.

Jim was always working all his life, usually working two jobs at a time. He did retire from the United States Post Office after working there for over 20 years.

When Jim wasn’t working, his favorite pastimes were going hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

If you had the pleasure of knowing Jim, you knew he was larger than life. He always wore his cowboy hat, his cowboy boots, his big western belt buckle, and he stood 6'2. Jim could strike a conversation up with anyone. As a Mailman, he would dress up as Santa Claus on his route to try to make people feel a little merrier to see him coming with their mail as Santa.

There was no one like James E. Tomasek. You surely will be missed!

Private services were held for the immediate family.
