James M. Gauthier

James M. Gauthier, age 84, born to Eternal Life on Friday, February 19, 2021. Beloved husband of Therese Gauthier (nee Biersack) of 61 years; loving father of Michael Gauthier (Debbie), the late John Gauthier (Luann), Patrick, Maria Busalacchi (Peter), Chris Gauthier (Angie); dear grandfather to Matthew, Ryan, Ashley, Andrew, Alex and Claire; and dear brother of the late Greg Gauthier (Colleen). James was a veteran of the US Navy serving for 34 years, receiving high military honors during his tour of duty. James was an avid fisherman, winning numerous tournaments and sharing his love of fishing with his children and grandchildren. James will be missed deeply by all. “What you saw was always what you got with him, and what you saw – if you were lucky enough to be his friend – was a truly delightful, generous, easy-going, fun-loving human being.” He personified the definition of a father. James had so much goodness, so much capacity to bring happiness to others. The world is a lesser place without him. Services will be held at St. Charles Borromeo (5571 S. Marilyn St., Milwaukee) on June 19, 2021. A Visitation will be held from 10 am until time of Mass at 11 am. Internment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Union Grove, WI.
