Jacqueline Eileen Dufour June 17, 1966 – October 12, 2024
Jacqueline Eileen Dufour found peace on October 12, 2024, at the age of 58. Jackie leaves behind her sisters, Debbie, Amiee, and Danielle; her brother, Michael; her uncles, Steve and Victor; countless cousins and friends; and her beloved son, Kiefer, who was the light of her life.
Born on June 17, 1966, Jackie’s life was filled with warmth, compassion, and a deep connection to nature. She had a lifelong love for the ocean, and nothing brought her more joy than watching dolphins play in the waves. Butterflies were also a symbol of beauty and transformation in her life, reminding her to embrace life's changes with grace. Whether by the shore or in the presence of nature, Jackie always found solace in the natural world.
Jackie, known for being passionate and kindhearted, always tried to remember the little things and never forgot to call on birthdays. Whether she was cheering on the Bears, cooking meals with her son, making friends with the neighborhood cats, or selling cars at Quality Auto with her dad, Jackie poured her heart into everything she did. She was a people person through and through, and she always tried to make everyone feel important. She didn’t take longer than 5 minutes to get to know someone. She also never missed a chance to live in life’s moments, no matter how big or small.
She will be remembered for her joyous spirit and ability to always be her true self. This was never more evident than when she was singing along to her favorite 70’s songs in the car or dancing to music. Jackie’s love was unconditional and fierce—she loved with her whole heart, often more than she received in return. She had a remarkable ability to give, always ready to offer a helping hand or the shirt off her back to anyone in need.
Jackie’s life was defined by her deep sentimentality, a quality that made her cherish every relationship, moment, and gift. Her legacy of love, generosity, and passion for life will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
She will be terribly missed by her son, Kiefer, as well as by her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of experiencing her kindness and radiant spirit. In her memory, may we all strive to love a little harder and give a little more freely, just as Jackie did.
Rest in peace, Jackie. You will forever be a part of the waves, the butterflies, and the beats in every song.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
