Ileana A. Padin Medina

Ileana "Lily" Padin Medina, a dedicated mother and compassionate Nurse, passed away on August 22, 2023, in Milwaukee, WI. Born on January 15, 1976, in Puerto Rico, Ileana was an exceptional individual who touched the lives of many through her career in the nursing field and her commitment to helping others.

Ileana's passion for her profession was evident to all who knew her. She offered comfort and support during their most vulnerable moments. Her genuine empathy and nurturing nature made her an extraordinary caregiver. Through her work as a tutor, Ileana extended her love for teaching. She derived great joy from helping others succeed and empowering them to reach their full potential.

After completing her education at Concordia University in Mequon, WI, Ileana embarked on a fulfilling journey in the healthcare industry. Her academic background equipped her with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide exceptional care to those in need. 

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ileana had varied interests that enriched her life. With a penchant for true crime stories (Like a lot), she enjoyed immersing herself in the fascinating world of Crime Junkie podcasts. She also kept herself apprised of current events by avidly following the news. A lover of literature, Ileana found solace in books and cherished every opportunity to lose herself in their pages. In addition to reading, crocheting was another beloved pastime that allowed her creativity to flourish. She was a picky eater and ate what she wanted, had an endless collection of shoes and purses.  Lover of all things pink and purple.

Ileana adored spending time with her surviving family and friends who meant everything to her. She leaves behind cherished memories with her daughter Nicaeli and son Daniel who were the lights of her life. Ileana's loyal companion, her dog Teddy, provided her with unwavering companionship and comfort throughout the years. She is also survived by her brother Jose, sister Bernice, and her parents Alicia and Jose, as well as a large extended family.

Ileana A. Padin Medina will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy as a loving mom, a compassionate Nurse and devoted tutor will forever be remembered as a source of inspiration. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing that she made a profound impact on the lives of those she cared for and taught.

She'll be forever loved and cherished.
