Gordon Hugh Steensrud

STEENSRUD, Gordon H. at the age of 92, Passed Away on December 15, 2020, finding Peace, being reunited with his Beloved wife, Phyllis. He is the beloved Father of Daughter, Delores (Kim) Kolosovsky; a Granddaughter, Rebecca Lynn (Tim) Wylesky-Durst, Son-in-law Harlan Ray, Grandchildren Amy Ray, Cory (Donna) Ray, Step-Children, Tom (Nancy) Wright, Bonnie Fitzsimmons, Scott (Debbie) Wright, Tina (Bruce) Wormsbacher and Steven Wright. Several other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Very Special Friends Bill and Vicki Klempka, and Russ, at Sacred Hearts Apartments for Seniors. Private services will be held at a later date. Gordon was a graduate of Mazomanie High School, served in the United States Army for four years and received a special commendation as a sharpshooter. He was previously married to Marilyn (nee Cross) and Dorothy (nee Fischer). He worked for Praefke Brake for 30+ years until closed. Gordon loved flying, attended the EAA every year and received his pilot license in the early 2000’s. Gordon had a gentle manner but always had a joke, was a teaser, an avid reader and loved his cat, Heidi. His last words to his daughter were “I love you Babe”! His parents, Marilyn and Dorothy, three siblings, a daughter and two nephews preceded him in death.
