Gilbert A. Schouten

Gilbert A. Schouten “Gil”, age 80, of Milwaukee, WI, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2021. Gil is survived by his nieces Carrie Schouten (John), Sheri (Pat) DeGracie and his nephew Dave (Kathy) Schouten along with great nieces and nephews, other family, and great friends. Gil is preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Rose and his brothers Kenneth (the late Barb) and Ronald (Judith). Gil graduated from Don Bosco High School and attended Marquette University. He was a dedicated employee at Allen Bradley for 38 years and was an active member at St. Veronica Congregation. Gill was a lover of sports and cars, he played basketball and baseball for Allen Bradley for many years and was an avid bowler. Gil had family and friends that cared for him and he will be deeply missed. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Veronica Congregation (353 E Norwich St, Milwaukee) on February 05, 2021 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to Zilber Family Hospice. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Zilber Family Hospice for the loving care shown to Gil and his family.
