Gail Lynn Gottsacker

August 5, 1956 — July 30, 2025

Milwaukee

Gail Gottsacker (née Kroll / Hill), age 68, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Born on August 5, 1956, in West Allis, Wisconsin, Gail brought warmth and laughter into the lives of those who knew her.

Gail was known for her vibrant personality and infectious sense of humor. She had a remarkable ability to make friends wherever she went, forming lasting connections with a special few around her. Her love for life was evident in the simple joys she embraced—whether it was savoring a cold Pepsi, enjoying a margarita with friends, or catching up on her favorite show, *The Young and the Restless*, which she never missed.

A dedicated and hardworking woman, Gail spent many years at Alida's Alpine Inn in New Berlin, where she waitressed and bartended. Her presence there left a lasting impression on both coworkers and patrons alike. Her warm smile and quick wit made every shift memorable. Gail also found joy in playing cards and sharing meals or a cold beer with loved ones. Her kitchen was often filled with laughter, conversation, and the aroma of a home-cooked meal.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Amy (Chad) Lintner, Kim Hill (Josh Hayek), and Brian (Katie) Hill; and by her cherished grandchildren: Marissa, Peyton, Rylie, Ty, Ruby, and Lucy. Gail also leaves behind many special friends and extended family members who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Marilyn Kroll; her brothers, Gary and Greg Kroll; and her beloved husband, Randy.

A Celebration of Life may be held at a later date.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
